Second Week of Advent- Sunday (by Buttface)

Scripture: Luke 3:1-6 What do you imagine the vision of God's salvation would look like?

This week's topic is Hope! I hope I understand this question are we talking about heaven or what? I'm going to talk about heaven and quote my theology professor Dawn Devries, "All I know about the end times is God."

That being said...shortly before my grandfather died he had what I could only describe as a vision. He was standing with Jesus in heaven and Jesus was showing him around introducing him to everyone. There was a large table with 12 chairs around it and there was a multitude of people around. While Jesus was introducing my grandfather, my grandfather realized that there was someone else there also being introduced. He said he knew the person but could recognize them. My grandfather asked Jesus what his responsibility would be once he got to heaven and Jesus answered, "now is the not the time for that."

My grandfather died a week later, his best friend died a week after that. I don't know if that is what heaven looks like but it sounds alright to me.

Ultimately, I trust that God will take care of the details I just have to try my best to live into God's will for my life.

God, probably going to need some help over here. Thanks.

Blessings, Buttface
